Repair keys or replace the keyboard?
A single popped keycap can sometimes be refitted. But when multiple keys stop working, repeat, or stick — especially after a liquid spill — the membrane or ribbon underneath is usually damaged. Replacing the whole keyboard fixes every key at once and is the lasting solution.
- Multiple dead/stuck keys → replace
- Liquid spill → replace, do not just dry
- One loose keycap → refit may work
- Backlight dead but keys work → check ribbon/variant
