How do I know my laptop charger wattage?
Read the original adapter’s label. It shows output like “19.5V 3.34A” — multiply volts by amps to get watts (here ~65W). Buy the same wattage or higher, never lower, and keep the same voltage and pin type.
A laptop that charges only at a certain cable angle, shows “plugged in, not charging”, or does not power on at all often has a failed charger rather than a failed battery. Replacing the adapter is the cheapest first fix, but it must match three things: wattage (W), pin/connector type, and output voltage.
